Practical Guide for Attaining 70%+ Of 2014 Resolutions

  I tried to as much as possible, make this article all-inclusive That it might have within, both answers to those resolving to become more productive in the year and those wishing to shake off every injurious habit preying on them. I equally hope I maintained the becoming cogency and tone needed for both parts to aptly deliver this well-researched, purpose driven article.


The well-neigh dead year came with it many causes to bliss, pain and grief, and then, as some would concur, unending haziness. Whichever side you fell in, does not matter any more as yesterday mattered, especially when here is come, but another brighter chance at a rebirth. For the celebrants of the year, I respect you. The aggrieved, I believe in you, and to they that by omission or commission failed to observe and to time the year, cleave now not there, for yet another is here.Without further ado, permit me to lead you into a path that if carefully taken to abide in, will get you hissing a deep sigh of relief on a countenance clad with joys of self-fulfilment. 1. Lean On Your Strength:
Waste not this year again enacting a wild ‘goose chase. Base to the least of the years resolve on your ability. If you’re deft at soccer, I see it more natural to tie every productivity resolve this year around soccer not on any other thing except for other departments of your life.
2 Do Not Be Fictitious:
Be practical to plan and compartmentalize every of your lives concerns imbued in this years resolution. Realistically, do every bit of it. Neither leave nor spare any fragment to for oblivion. Say not, it will happen but how it will I do not know. What I’m mean is instituting on yourself and the lofty resolutions you just signed the just principal of cause and effect. You must stimulate, to get a response.

3. Write It Down:
Yes, endeavour to write it out. On your study , house door, office and just any prominent part of your entire life, flood with the resolution. You need to see it every time. More than you see your GSM phone, see this year’s resolution. This is because humans learn most naturally, we absorb things we do not even plan to, when they are adverted before us repeatedly. Most of American Hip up songs I know today, did not come to me intentionally, it just happened that by mere processes of overhearing, those songs seared through the unconscious, whence, I found myself involuntary singing them. Make a habit of your resolution!(for wrecking of bad habits, do not so project this mechanism. Find out why under hypochondria below)

4. Get a Mentor:
Submit both of yourself and resolution to somebody you honour. This is an age-long principle. In the bible Paul said’ be ye followers of me '', and this very idea has been in great use by understanding Christian communities, where equally, they observe same thing as Apostle Paul once again recommended, spiritual mentorship. Yes, almost every paid-up believer you see today got a spiritual father, and watch they that have not any if still they are not babies in the faith. The force of mentorship is equal with that of nature, especially targeted one. It’s targeted when your mentor is your career/intellectual compass too. That’s if this mentor is your role model also: an authority in that lives compact upon which you instituted this year’s resolution. Nothing can stop you from succeeding in the year taking this very medium.

5. Operand Conditioning

This is definitely no new concept. But I'm particularly recommending it to hermits .Melancholic’s who would find it pretty luxurious going out there for mentorship hunt. Here, the mathematics is simple: (plus) + progress, - (minus) regress. Reward progress and penalize no progress. It's a reward system primarily for self-reform. For correcting psychological impairments/ abnormalities/bad habits and other vices, but as you well can see, it has quite an audacity for virtuous purposes. One possible downside of operand conditioning is that it may not be very effective when deprivation and reward of ''love'' is not the driving force. That’s why it's as if smokers at times are corrected by their wives. The smoker will persevere to remain sober because the opposite will either get a soul mate grieving or offended

6. Beware Of Hypochondria:

Hypochondria is a feeling that something is wrong with you/that you are incapable of doing something triggered by obsessing oneself with relative thoughts when actually you are cool. For instance, if you are not careful about how people assault you, a repeated act of such, say 'you are mad' has every promise to make you anxious and under extreme cases believing you ' are '(a Brainwashing tactics).
Fire they say is a good slave but bad master. As you’re writing out your bad habits for changing, watch that your mind is not overheated or implanted with the thought altogether. You might end up worse than you were last year. The human brain is believed to function well and effective naturally/the way it is, than when visited with all these conscious tracts that claim to help you grow mentally. They end up instigating irrational apprehensions about ones intellectual capacity. So when jotting down those perversities and immorality to be dropped this year, ensure to drive but yourself and your resolve to the end lest, you get over dosed, creating potent holes for Hypochondria which will then reverse you rapidly than you ever bargained for.

7 Confess Openly To Friends:

This one has an exception: it might not work for unprincipled persons. If you have a reputation for wild talks, inconstancy and every other form of vacillation, then no need trying this because your friends will not take you for your word unless you want to solve multiple problems of your primary target for the year and then profligacy. In doing so, you stand righting the sickly image you have given yourself all these years and then living your dream for 2014.And for the practical and unwavering one, who is also not immune to shame; your friends are yet another way to motivate yourself this year. Challenge yourself by telling them to watch out for you. For even greater results, present them with the terms of your target for the year, every bit of it. Don’t be surprised to find those like you among them offering their help or opting to be carried along.

7. Get Busy.

Without scaling down on the singular need that the sum of your resolution is set on full scale motion, I would like to ask you to get busy. An idle mind they say is a devils workshop. Get occupied or fixed with anything you like to do. I’m not asking you to intentionally get busy in order to ward off bad thought that will bring about another thing that will cause you to revert. I'm asking you to among all the works humans do, find your passion and pursue it passionately. Don’t go about harbouring your fear of relapse at heart to let it drive your desire to get busy and hope to actually get busy. No! The result will be the earlier expounded hypochondria, followed by an automatic geometric regression. Get engaged to what you love , then you will not have any mind remaining for anything else including for hatching and executing evil. I personally testify to reality to this. It’s non-fictional.

8. Fight Procrastination:

I observed after a series of inquiry that yes
their is one yet ineffectual attribute of virtually every human being, one pretty latent among high-flyers. And that will be our inclination to procrastination. This anti-growth behaviour is human and all those proactive people you drool at out there worked to overcome it. And to be precise again, not erasing it from their lives utterly, but from that aspect of their lives upon which your regard for them is founded. No soul is devoid of procrastination, but what men do is to hold it off the face of immediate pursuit to make success possible. Beneath this, other parts of the man are fraught with vestiges of procrastination. Do now like other men out their, hold it down/off the way to 2014 resolutions so that you can score unlike mark come year end

9. Control:
By control I mean conducting a periodic (Monthly, bi-monthly, Quarterly) check on yourself to ensure success attained is + or equal with the remaining part of the year. Projecting the year is equal with budgeting while control is akin to variance analysis. You can't possibly meet up without a good control system otherwise two things are prone, over or under production. Whilst it's okay that the former is 100+ the later is below par; either way, are just sheer telling of profligacy; and if yet impractical, are you effective? Then exert control!

And finally, at the base of all this is the MAN. You will initiate and you also would choose to what degree, if any at all, you are going to soldier on with this project through the year. As the architect both of purpose and procedure, the life of every resolution you make in 2014 depends only on you!
