PHLEGMATIC TEMPERAMENT:
Is fundamentally relaxed and quiet,ranging from warmly attentive to
lazily sluggish.They tend to be content with themselves and very
kind.They can be very accepting and affectionate.They may be very
receptive and shy and often prefer stability to uncertainty and
change.They are very consistent,relaxed,calm,rational,curious and
observant.They can equally be very passive agressive.
FUNCTIONS THEY ARE INNATELY GOOD AT:
Alter work,Audio video,Baptism,Bereavement,childcare,counselling,Discipline,Evangelist,Hospice work,Mailroom,Reception,Secretary,Usher etc. OCCUPATIONAL AREAS OF PHLEGMATICS. Accounting,Actuary,Analyst,Banker,Bookkeeper,Computer analyst,,Cosmologist,Data Processing,Dental hygienist,Economist,Physical therapist,Technician. PHLEGMATIC IN INCLUSION: inclusion refers to those areas of relationships that are social or superficial,as opposed to those that would involve issues of control or intimacy. The phlegmatic in inclusion is a very steady and undynamic person.They slowly proceed through life expending as little energy as possible.They are the ones who used to get gold watches for fifty years of faithful service doing the same book keeping job they started at 19. His daily routine is to go to work,sit in a cubicle and crunch numbers all day.They will take a nap in the morning,eat lunch,have another nap,go home and go to bed after a couple of hours of TV.Since they have no temperament needs,they have no need to regenerate.So expending energy doing anything would be like a waste.They tend to be observers of life rather than doers.Since they take few chances and break few rules they generally lead safe but boring life. Phlegmatics take an easygoing aproach to life.They like to take a nap not over exert themselves and rarely volunteer for anything.They work best when their is little pressure and little risk.They like to become expert at something,insuring their value in the future. PHLEGMATICS IN CONTROL: The area of interpersonal relationships that has to do with power and decision making is what is refered to as Temperament in control.It's not typicaly an issue for phlegmatics in control,They tend to be well rounded individuals who require little control over others,and they are not in need of much control over their own lives,either.They can have a tendency towards procrastination in areas they are ill informed. The can also be extraordinarily stubborn.A self rightous phlegmatic is an impossible to move individual who's mind is already made up regardless of establishing views. Phlegmatic in control is the only temperament that can easily resist the effort of the choleric to control them,Typicaly,the choleric will just give up and walk away in frustration when they come across a phlegmatic in control.They can make a graet moderator and negotiator.Unflappable they remain unemotional and objective,while others border in violence.Humour and wit are frequent tools the phlems will use to keep others at a reasonable distance,especially,cholerics who are trying to boss them around. PHLEGMATIC IN AFFECTION: In the area of affection,the phlegmatic is the most stable of all the temperaments.Yhey neither smother others with too much attention nor do they remain cool and distantThey place realistic demands on others and are able to respond to others needs with a reasonable amount of energy.They tend to have problems with fear of rejection,and they seem to be able to deal with hostile or angry people. they prefer things to be stable in relationships.They will always present an uncaring exterior when others are sad.As their tendency towards self rightousness tells them it is other persons problem.
