Entrepreneurship theories

 Richard Cantillon:He was the foremost contributor in the field of enterpreneuship.an Irish man.the word enterpreneuship was of French origin from “interpredia” which means someone who bears risksand uncertainties.To Richard an enterpreneuer is a risk bearer. Kirzner:he sees the enterprenuer as someone who is alert to profitable opportunities for the purpose exchange.He plays an
intermediary role in the chain of distribution.He believes that their was no need to own resources because profit arises from intermediary function. Sir Joseph Schumter:He introduced the concept of innovation and power.The schumterian tradition believes that’creation of new methods of doing things,production,markets,invention;innovation and change where all the functions of the enterpreneuer.To him only certain extraordinary people have such abilities,feats nd craft,they bring about extraordinary ideas. He disagrees with Max Weber and others who stated religious,cultural and social factors as the driving force of enterpreneuers.To him people are motivated by the antavistic will to achieve power.
